Hey everyone!!!!
How are you??? Haha.
As some of you may know already, I had my graduation on Monday!!!!! I'm all done with high school!
It's kind of weird to think about but HEY! it happened!!!! And it was really exciting. Of course the day started early.
All of the graduating students had to be at the Concord Pavillion by 8:15 a.m. to learn how to walk into the ceremony and how to sit all at once when Ms. Lee says "Graduating class of 2012, please be seated." We had to do that walk-thru at least twice. And then we had to do a run through with everyone's names and go up on stage and tell them if they said our name right. It's a good thing they did that because my name was pronounce completely wrong. My first name, that is. It was pronounced "pat-ree-keya", yeah.... that's so wrong hahaha. And here I was sitting there joking with my friend that sat beside me that there was no way my name could possibly be messed up hahaha! Irony.
Anyways, all of the students were able to choose which teacher they wanted to have hand them their diplomas and then we were all seated according to teacher :), it was easy to find our seats once we found the area where our teacher was sitting. Our chairs had stickers with our names on them though haha :)
Just an FYI, a vast majority of these pictures were taken by my graduation present!! An IPHONE 4 haha :) Thank you mom and dad.
Graduation Present from mom and dad :)
Name on my seat :)
It was pretty close to 11 when our rehearsal finished up, so Andrew and I came up with the idea that Mary and our friends Tyler and Jesse should come to breakfast with us, so, of course we went to the best breakfast place in town!!!!!
We're genius's. This place is so yummy and unhealthy :)
Then after our huge breakfast was our time to hang out for a few hours, which was much needed since Mary and Jesse were both in food comas and I still needed to finish painting my nails and decorating my cap!
Zebra Print! And a pink nail that matches the top of my dress!
Simple and Elegant
We did visit with some family though!!! :) My grandparents drove all the way down from Washington to see my sister and me walk, as well as my Auntie Patti and Uncle Bob :)
But then it was time for getting ready haha, Dad had to help Mary while she curled her hair. I finished pretty quickly so Tyler, Andrew and I just chilled until she was done.
Such a good daddy :)
Tyler chillin' on my bed while texting Mikayla :)
Me and Andrew chillin' while I play with my phone :)) So cute!
And before we knew it, we were at the pavillion and getting ready to line up for gradutation!
I was very nice to my sister while we were walking over there though haha, she was wearing these beautiful red suede pumps, but she has a little tougher time walking in heels so I offered to switch shoes with her (I was wearing a pair of sandals) until we got to where we needed to be because the parking lot was loose gravel and dirt and I have no problem walking in heels. :) I felt her pain though. Haha. Andrew asked me why girls wear painful shoes... I just looked at him for a few seconds, lifted a foot and said, "Because they're gorgeous!!!" Haha.
There was no way that I was going to go through graduation without having my best friend Mr. Ellenwood hand me my diploma :)
My latest article is all about Mr Ellenwood and what an Inspiration he is! Check it out at
Inspiration Unlimited the wonderful online magazine I'm honored to write for! :)
Smiling for the camera!!!
And one last hug before I walk off! :)
We got lucky and were seated by each other :) haha
And there was no way that I wasn't going to get a picture with Alix (Nikki)
It took forever to find my family hahah!
But when I did, I snuck up behind them all :)
Twinning!!!
AND THEN IT WAS TIME FOR GRAD NIGHT!!!!! STARTING AT 9 PM TO 5 AM! I was determined to stay awake and I did!!!
Andrew and I got matching bunny airbrushed tattoos while Tyler got a lion in a lion's paw :)
The whole crew (tyler on the left, andrew in the back, tayler on the right, and me!!!) after turning in some raffle tickets
1:30 a.m. smoothies!
2:30 a.m. cosmic bowling!!! Followed by coffees and watching a hypnotist making all our friends go crazy :) hahah
At 5 a.m. Andrew, Tyler and, I left for home but felt adventurous on the way home and decided to stop by Carl's house to give him a hard time :) hahaha
And by 5:45 a.m. we were outside watching the sunrise :)
I hope you guys all enjoyed my Graduation day pictures and rambling!!!!! I'll write again for you guys soon!
